Grant Applications

Criteria for Grants

Whilst there are several criteria that we use to determine the success of applications, our BIG 3 are:

  • the groups must be “uniquely” Sunbury.
  • they have little/limited opportunity to raise funds elsewhere.
  • the grants delivered must “really make a difference” to the members of the recipient.

Others:

  • A local community group: Surrounding and outlying areas of Sunbury.
  • A ‘not-for-profit’ organisation (businesses and individuals are not eligible).
  • Grant requested is linked to a project.
  • Applications are considered on a case by case basis and subject to funds available from the company.
  • Applications for grants will be considered up to $5000.
  • At the discretion of the board lesser amounts than requested may be given.
  • The decision of the committee is final.
  • Grant recipients must be incorporated associations or auspiced by an incorporated association.
  • Participating in publicity & promotion is mandatory for successful grant.
