The committee at Sunbury Connected Communities (SCC), are committed to enhancing the safety and well-being of our local community. One of the ways we demonstrate this commitment is by providing defibrillators to local clubs and not-for-profit organizations within Sunbury and its 10km radius. Our goal is to make life-saving equipment accessible and to ensure that your community can respond effectively to cardiac emergencies. Our Defibrillator Grant Program

At SCC, we understand the importance of having defibrillators readily available in the community. Quick access to these devices can mean the difference between life and death in the event of a cardiac emergency. To help local clubs and not-for-profit organisations in Sunbury, we offer defibrillator units through our grant program. The defibrillators that are being offered as part of this grant program are ultra-portable single-use units which are being purchased from Defib for Life.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a defibrillator through our program, there are some criteria that include but is not necessarily limited to the following:
1. Sunbury-Based or Within a 10km Radius: Your organisation must be located in Sunbury or within a 10-kilometer radius of Sunbury. We’re here to support our local community and those in close proximity.
2. Not-for-Profit: We prioritise organisations that are registered as not-for-profit entities, actively working for the betterment of our community.

We understand that the process of applying for a defibrillator grant should be straightforward and accessible. That’s why SCC has made the application process as simple as possible. Our goal is to remove any unnecessary barriers so that you can focus on keeping your community safe.

How to Apply

To get started, simply fill out our online application form, providing the required information. Our team will review your application, and if you meet the eligibility criteria, we’ll work with you to facilitate the provision of a defibrillator unit for your organisation. Please note that while we strive to support as many deserving organisations as possible, availability may be limited and not all applicants will be successful.
